Travel Consultant
*Agents are to effectively sell and promote the sale of travel services to current and potential clients for both leisure and corporate reservations.
*
Work in an office for 20-30 hours per week

Correspond with clients in many forms of communication including phone, email, text, and social media outlets

Research and compile quotes for clients

Use of Sabre GDS

Solicit and develop new clients

Conduct presentations for groups, cruise nights, travel shows, and other events

Use of office programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, and Quick Books
-
Participate in seminars both online and at off-site locations
-
Experience a variety of different destinations to gain knowledge of locations

Perform site inspections of resorts and hotels and provide feedback in a report
